# 60 · 卜算未来

### 第1段

At a village fair, I decided to visit a fortune-teller called Madam Bellinsky. I went into her tent and she told me to sit down. After I had given her some money, she looked into a crystal ball and said: 'A relation of yours is coming to see you. She will be arriving this evening and intends to stay for a few days. The moment you leave this tent, you will get a big surprise. A woman you know well will rush towards you. She will speak to you and then she will lead you away from this place. That is all.' As soon as I went outside, I forgot all about Madam Bellinsky because my wife hurried towards me. 'Where have you been hiding?' she asked impatiently. 'Your sister will be here in less than an hour and we must be at the station to meet her. We are late already.' As she walked away, I followed her out of the fair.

中文理解：在一次乡村集市上，我决定去找一位叫贝林斯基夫人的算命人。我走进帐篷，她叫我坐下。 我付过钱，她望着水晶球说：“你有一位亲戚要来看你，今晚就到，打算住几天。” 她接着说：“你一离开这顶帐篷，就会大吃一惊。一位你很熟悉的女子会朝你跑来，跟你说话，然后带你离开这里。就这些。” 我刚走出去，妻子就匆匆跑来，我立刻把贝林斯基夫人的话忘光了。她不耐烦地问：“你躲到哪儿去了？” 她接着催道：“你姐姐不到一小时就到了，我们得去车站接她。已经晚了！” 她转身走开，我也跟着她离开了集市。

* **looked into**：往……里面看；本课是朝水晶球里看；其他语境也可指调查。

* **A relation of yours**：你的一位亲戚；yours后不再加名词；英式relation可指亲戚。

* **The moment**：一……就……；本课作时间连接结构，相当于as soon as。

* **forgot all about**：把……忘得一干二净；all加强完全忘记，不是忘了某个细节。

* **in less than an hour**：不到一小时后；less than给上限，in说明多久以后。

* **walked away**：走开；away说明离开，适合叙述结束接触。

#### At a village fair, I decided to visit a fortune-teller called Madam Bellinsky.

简单句，主谓宾结构，过去分词短语作后置定语，而如果是a fortune-teller, {Madam Bellinsky}. 则为同位语.

#### I went into her tent and she told me to sit down.

并列句，and 前句为主谓宾结构；后句为主谓宾 + 宾补结构.

#### After I had given her some money, she looked into a crystal ball and said: 'A relation of yours is coming to see you.

复合句，主句主谓宾结构，句首是after 引导的时间状语从句，主谓宾结构，give 后面接了双宾语.

简单句，主谓结构，现在进行时表将来.

#### She will be arriving this evening and intends to stay for a few days.

并列句，前句为主谓结构，后句为省略了主语的主谓宾结构.

\[关键句型] 前句用了将来进行时，will be doing 形式.

#### The moment you leave this tent, you will get a big surprise.

复合句，主句主谓宾结构，前面是时间状语从句，主谓宾结构.

\[关键句型] 一般将来时，will do 形式.

#### A woman you know well will rush towards you.

复合句，主句主谓结构，一般将来时，中间有一个定语从句，省略的关系代词指 a woman，作 know 的宾语，因此内部是主谓宾结构。

#### She will speak to you and then she will lead you away from this place.

并列句，and 连接前后两句，前句主谓结构；后句主谓宾结构，两句均为一般将来时.

#### As soon as I went outside, I forgot all about Madam Bellinsky because my wife hurried towards me.

复合句，主句为主谓宾结构，前面有一个as soon as 引导的时间状语从句，主谓结构，后面是because 引导的原因状语从句，主谓结构.

#### 'Where have you been hiding?'

特殊疑问句，正常语序you have been hiding…，现在完成进行时，have been doing 形式.

#### 'Your sister will be here in less than an hour and we must be at the station to meet her.

并列句，and 连接前后两句，均为主系表结构.

#### As she walked away, I followed her out of the fair.

复合句，主句主谓宾，前面是as 引导的时间状语从句，主谓结构.
