## Part 1 · 熟悉生活的问答 {#speaking-part-1}

### 1. What kind of clothes do you like to wear? {#p1-15408bfdc3}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I enjoy wearing clothes that are comfortable yet stylish. For everyday activities, I tend to wear casual outfits like jeans and a T-shirt, which are easy to move in. I also like to wear cozy sweaters in colder weather. When I go out with friends or attend special events, I prefer to dress up a bit more, often choosing something fashionable, like a well-fitted dress or a tailored shirt. Comfort is always my priority, but I also like looking good without compromising on practicality.

### 2. Do you like shopping for clothes? {#p1-5fa458377e}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Yes, I do enjoy shopping for clothes, but I tend to do it in moderation. I like to shop when the season changes or when I need something specific, like a new jacket or shoes. I prefer shopping in stores where I can try on the clothes to see how they fit. However, I also enjoy browsing online, especially when I'm looking for unique pieces that aren't available in my local stores. It's always fun to discover new styles or brands that suit my taste.

### 3. How do you decide what clothes to wear? {#p1-05a999c8d5}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> When deciding what to wear, I always consider the occasion and the weather. If I’m going to work or a formal event, I choose more professional outfits like a suit or a dress. For casual outings with friends, I opt for something more relaxed, like a pair of jeans and a nice top. I also think about how I’ll feel in the clothes—comfort is key. Lastly, I pay attention to my mood. Sometimes I feel like wearing something bright and colorful, other times, I prefer neutral tones.

### 4. Has the way you dress changed since you were a child? {#p1-4deecf789b}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Definitely! When I was younger, I didn't have much say in what I wore, so it was mostly about comfort and practicality. I wore simple clothes that my parents picked for me. Now, as I’ve gotten older, I care more about expressing my personal style. I’m more aware of trends and fashion, and I like choosing clothes that reflect my personality. I’ve also become more conscious of fabrics and fit, so I invest in quality clothing that lasts longer.

## Part 2 · 讲一段完整经历 {#speaking-part-2}

### 1. Describe a time when you bought clothes that you didn’t need. {#p2-d77545cc5b}

You should say:

* When it was
* What the clothes were
* Why you bought them
* And explain why you didn’t need them

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I can clearly recall a time when I bought clothes that were completely unnecessary. It happened about a year ago when I was shopping for a birthday present for a friend. I had no intention of buying anything for myself, but I ended up leaving the store with an expensive designer jacket that I didn’t need at all.

> The jacket was a sleek black leather one, with a stylish cut and silver zippers. It looked fantastic on the mannequin, and when I tried it on, I felt like it instantly elevated my appearance. However, I already had a very similar jacket at home, which I barely wore because the weather in my city is often too warm for leather clothing.

> The reason I bought it was mainly impulse. The salesperson was incredibly persuasive, complimenting how well it suited me and mentioning that it was on sale for a “limited time.” That sense of urgency, combined with the idea that I was getting a great deal, made me purchase it without much thought.

> Later, I realized I didn’t need it because, as expected, I hardly ever got the chance to wear it. It stayed in my wardrobe for months, untouched, until I finally decided to sell it online for a fraction of the price I paid. That experience taught me an important lesson about being more mindful when shopping and not letting emotions or clever marketing influence my decisions.

## Part 3 · 从个人走向讨论 {#speaking-part-3}

### 1. Do you think fashion is important? {#p3-789c81b4dd}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Fashion plays a significant role in self-expression. It allows individuals to reflect their personality, mood, and creativity through their clothing choices. In many cultures, fashion is also a form of art that influences society’s norms and trends. While some may see it as superficial, I believe that the way we dress can impact how others perceive us, as well as how we feel about ourselves. However, it’s important to balance personal style with practicality. Fashion should be fun and empowering, not something that pressures us to conform to trends.

### 2. How has fashion changed over the years? {#p3-982bfe024c}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Fashion has undergone tremendous transformations over the years, reflecting changes in society, technology, and culture. In the past, people’s clothes were largely influenced by social class and geography, but today, fashion is much more diverse and inclusive. In recent decades, the focus has shifted towards comfort and individuality, with athleisure and casual wear becoming more mainstream. Technology has also played a huge role, with the rise of online shopping, fast fashion, and social media, all influencing what we wear. Overall, fashion has evolved to become more accessible, creative, and dynamic.

:::

### 3. How does social media influence fashion? {#p3-583ec725cb}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Social media has become one of the most powerful tools in shaping fashion trends today. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok allow influencers and celebrities to showcase their styles to millions of people. As a result, trends can spread quickly, and people are more likely to follow them. Social media also democratizes fashion, making it easier for anyone to access global trends and share their own looks. However, it can also lead to pressure to conform, as individuals may feel compelled to wear what’s popular rather than what truly suits them.

:::

### 4. Do you think people should follow fashion trends? {#p3-c7f5850ab6}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> While following fashion trends can be fun and inspiring, I believe it’s more important to prioritize personal style over trends. Fashion trends are often short-lived and can sometimes lead to people buying clothes they don’t really need. Instead, I encourage people to find clothing that suits their body type, personality, and lifestyle. Fashion should make you feel confident and comfortable, not pressured to fit into a specific mold. That being said, it’s always okay to incorporate elements of current trends into your wardrobe if they align with your style.

::: details English coaching notes · 原材料的话题提醒

* Be Personal and Specific: Try to provide personal insights or examples related to your own experiences. This adds authenticity to your answers and makes them more relatable. For instance, you can describe your favorite outfit or why a certain fashion trend appeals to you.
* Expand Your Answers: Don’t give short, one-sentence responses. Elaborate by adding reasons, examples, and explanations. If asked about your favorite type of clothes, you could explain why it’s comfortable, trendy, or suits your personality.
* Use Variety in Vocabulary and Grammar: The examiner will assess your language skills, so aim for variety in your vocabulary and sentence structures. Instead of repeating basic words like "good" or "nice," use alternatives like "stylish," "elegant," or "comfortable."
