## Part 1 · 熟悉生活的问答 {#speaking-part-1}

### 1. Do you enjoy learning new things? Why or why not? {#p1-233ef175a3}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Yes, I absolutely love learning new things. I find it fascinating to explore different topics, especially when I can relate them to my personal interests or real-life situations. I think learning keeps my mind sharp and makes life more enjoyable. For example, I've recently started learning how to cook, and it's been so rewarding to experiment with new recipes. Not only does it challenge me to think creatively, but I also get to enjoy delicious meals I’ve made myself. It’s an exciting way to continuously grow and discover new passions.

### 2. How do you prefer to learn new things? {#p1-9f914020bd}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I prefer learning through a combination of methods. I’m someone who enjoys a hands-on approach, so when learning something new, I try to immerse myself in the experience. For instance, when I learned how to play the guitar, I watched videos, practiced regularly, and joined online communities to get feedback. I believe practical experience, alongside theory, is the most effective way to grasp a concept deeply. This approach helps me retain knowledge longer and makes the learning process more enjoyable and engaging.

### 3. What kind of things do you like to learn about? {#p1-d9d0b537f2}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I’m particularly interested in learning about topics related to technology and psychology. I love exploring how technology is changing our world, from artificial intelligence to new gadgets that improve daily life. At the same time, I have a strong curiosity about human behavior, which is why I enjoy reading about psychology. Understanding how people think and interact with each other is something that deeply fascinates me. I find that these areas of interest often overlap, as technology is increasingly being used to analyze and understand the human mind.

### 4. Do you think it’s important to continue learning throughout life? Why or why not? {#p1-548f58b741}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Yes, I strongly believe that lifelong learning is essential. The world is constantly changing, and staying updated with new knowledge and skills helps us adapt and thrive. Learning doesn’t just benefit our careers, but it also enriches our personal lives. For example, learning a new language can open doors to new cultures and experiences. Moreover, continuous learning helps us maintain cognitive function as we age. It’s an exciting and rewarding process that keeps life interesting and ensures we don’t become stagnant in our thinking or behavior.

## Part 2 · 讲一段完整经历 {#speaking-part-2}

### 1. Describe a time when you learned something new that you found interesting. {#p2-d2d91e527a}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> One of the most interesting things I learned was how to play the guitar. I had always been fascinated by music but never knew how to play any instrument. A couple of years ago, I decided to learn, starting with online tutorials. At first, it was challenging, especially with learning the basic chords and strumming techniques. But with persistence, I began to notice improvement. What made this experience particularly memorable was how it expanded my understanding of rhythm and music theory. I remember the moment when I could finally play my first full song. It was incredibly rewarding. I didn’t just learn the technique; I also started to appreciate the emotional connection that music can create. The process was not only about gaining a new skill but also about pushing through frustration and enjoying the sense of accomplishment when I made progress. This experience taught me that persistence and patience are key when learning anything new, and it made me more motivated to keep exploring other things like songwriting and music composition. Now, playing guitar is one of my favorite pastimes, and I often use it as a way to relax and express myself.

## Part 3 · 从个人走向讨论 {#speaking-part-3}

### 1. In your opinion, how important is formal education in the process of learning? {#p3-27cac52181}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I believe formal education plays a significant role, but it isn’t the only pathway to learning. While schools and universities provide structured knowledge and resources, real-world experiences and self-directed learning are also crucial. Formal education introduces us to a broad range of subjects and teaches us essential skills like critical thinking and discipline. However, the most profound learning often happens outside the classroom, through exploration and hands-on practice. For example, many successful individuals in fields like entrepreneurship and technology often attribute their success to self-learning and experimentation. Therefore, formal education can provide a solid foundation, but it’s the personal commitment to learning and curiosity that truly drives growth.

### 2. Do you think it’s better to learn something on your own or with a teacher? {#p3-7517e4aad1}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I think both approaches have their merits, depending on the individual and the subject. Learning on your own offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to explore at your own pace and focus on what interests you. For instance, when I was learning to play the guitar, I mostly relied on online resources and practiced in my own time. However, having a teacher can provide structure, personalized guidance, and expert insight that can help you avoid common mistakes and make faster progress. In my opinion, a balanced approach is ideal – using teachers for more technical subjects while supplementing with self-study for broader exploration.

### 3. How do you think technology has impacted the way people learn? {#p3-ee0ed4cc2e}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> Technology has revolutionized learning in many ways. It has made education more accessible, flexible, and interactive. For instance, online platforms like Coursera and Khan Academy offer courses on a wide range of subjects, allowing people to learn from anywhere in the world. Technology also enables more personalized learning experiences through apps and AI-based platforms that adapt to an individual’s learning style and pace. Moreover, tools like video tutorials, podcasts, and virtual classrooms make learning more engaging. However, it’s important to note that while technology offers great opportunities, it can also be overwhelming, and it’s crucial to find a balance between digital and traditional methods.

### 4. Do you think people today are learning more than in the past? Why or why not? {#p3-0fb17539b4}

::: details 参考回答 · 先开口再展开

> I think people today have more opportunities to learn than in the past, but this doesn’t necessarily mean we are learning more. The internet has provided an incredible wealth of knowledge, and individuals can access information on almost any topic at any time. This availability of resources is unprecedented, and it allows for more diverse and specialized learning. However, the overwhelming amount of information can sometimes lead to superficial understanding or distraction. In contrast, past generations may have had fewer resources but were often more focused on mastering specific skills or knowledge. So while access to learning has dramatically increased, the depth of learning may not always match the quantity of information available.

::: details English coaching notes · 原材料的话题提醒

* Demonstrate Depth of Understanding: When discussing learning and knowledge, show that you can think critically. Explain not just what you know but how you learned it and why it's important to you. For example, instead of just saying you learned English in school, you could explain how you approached the learning process, such as using a specific method or experiencing a turning point in understanding.
* Use Personal Examples: Provide real-life examples of your learning experiences. The IELTS examiners are looking for fluency and coherence, so try to keep your responses conversational, drawing from your own experiences with education, hobbies, or work. You could talk about a book you’ve read or a skill you’ve learned and how it’s shaped your perspective.
