## 准确理解

这栋房子的建造过程确实对环境造成了损害，主要是因为必须使用大量混凝土，而混凝土生产是制造业中最大的二氧化碳排放来源之一。

### 为什么这样说

`It's true that` 先承认代价，`mainly because` 把主要原因突出，再用同位语补术语意义。承认问题后解释机制，比只说“对环境不好”更有说服力。

### 什么场景可以用

讨论工程、消费或技术成本，用 `It's true that` + 负面影响, `mainly because` + 主谓。原因是名词则用 `mainly because of`；后面可加一个具体例子说明。

保留关系 · 替换内容

容易误解的地方

`because they had to use` 是完整从句，`because of concrete` 是名词结构，两者不可混搭。破折号后的 `one of` ... 指混凝土这一材料，不是房屋本身。
