> This is why composers often introduce a **key note** in the beginning of a song, spend most of **the rest of** the piece in the **studious avoidance** of the pattern, and then finally repeat it only at the end.

**重点词块：** **key note**、**studious avoidance**、**the rest of**

:::

| **the rest of** | 其余部分 | the remainder of |

* **三段动作：** `composers often introduce a key note in the beginning of a song, spend most of the rest of the piece in the studious avoidance of the pattern, and then finally repeat it` introduce、spend、repeat 共用 composers 作主语，构成有意延迟的过程。

`This is why` 把前文解释带入安排；三个并列动词给过程，`only at the end` 强调延迟的落点。

> `This is why 〔创作者〕 introduce 〔开端〕, avoid 〔中段〕, and finally repeat 〔结尾〕.`

> This is why good speakers introduce a clear idea, avoid unnecessary detail and finally repeat the main point.

`This is why` 后用陈述语序。

> This is why careful writers introduce a question, develop it with examples and finally return to the answer.

> This is why composers often introduce a **key note** in the beginning of a song, / spend most of **the rest of** the piece in the **studious avoidance** of the pattern, / and then finally repeat it only at the end.

**可复用骨架：** `This is why 〔创作者〕 introduce 〔开端〕, avoid 〔中段〕, and finally repeat 〔结尾〕.`

> This is why good speakers introduce an idea at the start, return to it briefly in the middle and finally repeat it at the end.
