## 准确理解

只要让玻璃保持足够高的温度，它就会在熔融的锡液表面铺展开来，直到上表面也变得平整、水平，并与下表面完全平行。

### 为什么这样说

`if` 中的 `were` 与主句 `would` 组成假设推演，`until` 再给过程停止的终点。重点是“满足这个条件会怎样”，而不是报告一次已发生的制作记录。

### 什么场景可以用

设想住房、设备或习惯的改变，用 `If` + 过去式, + `would` + 动词原形。比如讨论更好的保温会怎样影响室温；要描述真实未来可能性，则通常用 `If` + 现在式, `will` ...。

保留关系 · 替换内容

> `If 〔假设条件〕, 〔材料〕 would 〔变化〕 until 〔最终状态〕.`

仿写第 1 句假设房间保温更好，室温就能保持到暖气再次开启。`were insulated` 与 `would stay` 成套；`until` 引出保温效果的时间终点。

容易误解的地方

`were kept` 是假设条件下的被动，不是简单的过去事实。`until` 意为“持续到”，不能代替 `by` 的“最迟在”；`would` 后不用过去式。

## 朗读切分

先在 `/` 处短暂停顿。重读加粗内容词，虚词只轻轻带过；读到句尾再完整落音。

## 句型迁移
